covid diary Saturday 30th May 2020- Level 2 Day 17

Weather a bit blustery and overcast. A bit of a northerly. Long Weekend, Queens Birthday Monday.
It feels chill, 10 deg C and 90% humidity.
I went to Zealandia yesterday, and did walk around upper dam and saw about 8-10 saddleback birds. First time I've seen them, they were very gregarious and stuck together as a group, quite noisy, in someways like the Kaka but looked like blackbirds. Zealandia free from Thursday 28th through to end of June, so wintertime when its quite. No tuataras to be seen, I suppose too cold, so may be hibernating. Apparently they do.

Seems to be another peak of about 117k of new cases on the chart above.
Not much news in the States on passing 100k deaths. Not being well managed over there.
Down to one active case in NZ, in Auckland.

A chat with Sky yesterday evening on API's. There ae static ones (JSON,Text) and dynamic ones, the dynamic ones generally have server back end, rather than just a database request there is the request that comes in and then to hide the database, and depending on level of access (hierarchy of user access via password etc) in server info is packaged and then sent back to use, so the database content is hidden, and only the packaged response is returned, so can vary content based on user's access status.
Also instead of CRUD its BREAD  & CRUCS, you don't delete but store old records.
I modified the cafeApp to make a notes app that adds/deletes so quick and dirty. It doesn't fit on the phone page too well, so may need to look at CSS but simple to use. I may develop it further.
